We are excited to be joined in this concert by the SaddleBrooke Winds and Strings Band. They are an ensemble of life-long professional and amateur musicians from all walks of life, playing together for the sheer joy of making and sharing music with others. Sounds a little like another great ensemble we know (wink, wink). You can get more info about them at their website or email them at info@saddlebrookewindsandstrings.org.
If you cannot attend our concert in person, then please enjoy the concert via Livestream. The link is https://music.arizona.edu/live. (The recording will be available at a different link after the concert. You can check out our website for that info.)
For those visiting our site for the first time, the Tucson New Horizons Band is open to adults near or over the age of 50 and meets weekly on Sundays during a Fall and Spring season. So, whether you have always wanted to play an instrument but have never had the chance or you used to play and havenโt played in a long time, we would love to have you join us and have a good time. All you will need is your instrument and a positive attitude! If you’re interested in getting involved in the Fall, you can send us a message via our CONTACT page or join us at our new member meeting meeting on August 18th, 1:30 pm. More info and to RSVP your for our interest meeting for new members, click here.
We hope to see you on July 21st!
