We are excited to be joined in this concert by the SaddleBrooke Winds and Strings Band. They are an ensemble of life-long professional and amateur musicians from all walks of life, playing together for the sheer joy of making and sharing music with others. New Members are Invited to Join the Tucson New Horizons Band for Our Fall 2023 Season

Tucson New Horizons Band & Strings

The Tucson New Horizons Band will kick off its Fall 2023 season with rehearsals starting on Sunday, September 10th. Rehearsals will take place at the Fred Fox School of Music on the University of Arizona campus.

The Tucson New Horizons Band is open to adults near or over the age of 50 and meets weekly on Sundays during a Fall and Spring seasons. So, whether you have always wanted to play an instrument but have never had the chance, or you used to play and haven’t played in a long time, we would love to have you join us and have a good time. All you will need is your instrument and a positive attitude!

New members are welcome!
If you are interested in participating, please take moment to complete the interest form at the link below. This will allow us send to you the info you need. There is a tuition fee of about $65.

Come Make Music with Us – Fall 2022!

Tucson New Horizons Band & Strings

The TNHB will start our Fall 2022 rehearsals on September 11th. There will be two bands, advanced and beginner.

If you are planning on joining us this Fall, whether for the advanced or beginning band, please register HERE. This will help Dr. Williams to ensure we have appropriate staffing.

More detailed information will be sent out to those who are joining us for the first time as we approach our first rehearsal. In the meantime, we look forward to seeing everyone again and am looking forward to getting started.

Join Us for Spring 2022

Tucson New Horizons Band & Strings

The TNHB we will start our Spring 2022 rehearsals on February 6th. There will be two bands, advanced and beginner. The advanced level participants will have the option to participate via online. Unfortunately, beginning level is not available for online instruction.

We will continue to abide by University of Arizona policies regarding masks required to be worn during rehearsals.

If you are planning on joining us this spring, whether for the advanced or beginning band, please fill out this Google survey. This will help Dr. Williams to ensure we have appropriate staffing.|
